Project Name, Location
Mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage systems design, building performance modeling, and LEED services and documentation for new 7-low-rise, 4-story buildings providing housing for 1,200 students. The seven buildings including single and double rooms, bathrooms, common rooms, residence assistant apartments, and limited office and academic space. The site is organized around a series of courtyards and a central dining/ commons building. Tercero III residences will form two neighborhoods, each surrounding a unique courtyard. This village-style configuration provides opportunities to create an environmentally and socially responsible community integrated at multiple scales, from the residential cluster to the Tercero Student Housing Area of 2000 students and to the campus and beyond. The project also includes abatement and demolition of the existing concrete student housing buildings. The Design/Build project is LEED Platinum certified.
